When I left my last job in January, I knew I had the time to make an investment in improving my skills and making a better path for me going forward. One area that I have had very limited experience in and therefore needed much improvement was "selling ideas" to large groups. Yes, being able to get in front of groups and sell a product or idea successfully is critical for career growth - making the point in an organized fashion with limited time is a huge value skill to acquire in life!
